3/28/2023 0 Comments Gold strike tunica jobs![]() Do not like that it is so far removed from any other civilization. ![]() Overall, enjoyed our stay and made the best of being stuck there for 4 straight days. We did not try the Buffet, but was only open one day that we were there. ![]() Watch out for that one!! Sides ( 2) came in the same containers we got our ketchup in the previous 3 days? Really? It is like one spoonful. Great food and big portions except the Lunch Menu Ribs. Servers were around most all times of the day or night on the Casino floor with comped drinks ( of course you need to tip them let’s not forget!!) Ate most days at Bet MGM. Staff in all areas: Casino, hotel, Restaurants etc were all top notch and attentive. Food overall at the Gold Strike was very good. Our room was clean, and the staff were quick to bring us anything we asked for. We ended spending 4 nights ( and days) at the Gold Strike with no way to go anyplace else. Our trip started off badly with No Rental Car available at airport even though we paid for one up front. Hotels near Tunica National Golf & Tennis.Hotels near Casino at Fitzgeralds Hotel.Hotels near Bluesville Performance Hall.Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.Knowledge of hotel services, features, local attractions, and activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms.Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.Able to sit, stand, walk, climb, crawl, kneel, crouch, balance, etc.Ability to take initiative and exhibit flexibility.Experience working in a similar resort setting.ĬERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS:.Two (2) years of experience in a restaurant as a Food Runner or Server.Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.Perform other job‐related duties as requested.Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas shut down the podium and forward phones to voice loop at end of the shift.Frequently check back with guests who are waiting to be seated make it evident to guests that they have not been forgotten and that tables are being prepared for them.Communicate the needs of the guests to the kitchen and management, inform management of guest reactions and comments, and assist management as needed to ensure smooth operation and quality service.Ensure menus have proper inserts and are current according to the most recent change, and replace all menus in poor condition.Answer phones, keep an accurate count of reservations, and handle reservation books.Greet guests promptly as they enter the restaurant.Maintain knowledge of scheduled daily activities and in‐house groups, daily house count, table/seat/station numbers, proper table set-ups, room capacity, hours of operation, price range, and dress code of the restaurant.Communicate with Restaurant Reservations regarding special orders, cake orders, and special requests – responsible for conveying all such information to management.
